Anya Petrova Stevens is a visual artist and spatial designer. Born in turmoil following the
collapse of the Soviet Union, her early years were spent in the countryside, where she began
painting with her grandparents.
Anya received her Master of Architecture and immigrated to Los Angeles in 2018. Since then, she has designed exhibitions for the Morgan Library and Museum, the Gardener museum, and virtual experiences for the Boston Lyric Opera.

She is interested in community building through spacial installations and experiences. Working with self-generated datasets and machine learning, she evokes empathy for vulnerable lifeforms, unveils the unseen, and creates new narratives. Anya received the Best Dissertation award at Russia’s 27th Exhibition for Architecture, Design, and Art

in 2018 and the Design Award from the A+D Museum in 2021.
